On Thursday (26/12), the consortium between PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk. (CAS), as a National Company that engages in air transportation support services, catering solutions, and other leading services in Indonesia, as well as the consortium leader and controller with Changi Airports International Pte Ltd (CAI), as the consortium member, was officially appointed by the government for the Komodo – Labuan Bajo Airport development project. The announcement was directly informed by the Minister of Finance (MoF), Sri Mulyani together with the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, which was located in the Dhanapala Hall, MoF Office, Jakarta.
The announcement made it clear that CAS led-consortium was awarded to do the project with Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme amongst other party that participated through optimization phase. Therefore, with a 25-year concession period, the CAS led-consortium will be responsible for the Komodo Airport’ development and operation in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
