CAS Group Targets Airports in Indonesia

PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CASS) receives offer from the Ministry of Transportation to manage an airport in Indonesia.

Apparently, in addition to being offered, the company coded CASS issuers also made an offer to the Ministry of Transportation to manage the airport in Labuan Bajo.

President Director of PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk, Nurhadijono Nurhadin said the offer is being reviewed by the Ministry of Transportation. Until now, CASS has not received any updates on the offer. Even so, CASS also did not rule out to be given the opportunity to manage other airports.

“CASS is willing to enter as an administrator or if necessary make investments in infrastructure development at airports, terminals, or warehouses,” said Nurhadijono when met KONTAN in Menara Cardig, Jakarta (7/9).

In addition, CAS Destination will also develop a cargo business. Nurhadijono sees that the cargo business has considerable opportunities and CASS is ready to invest in the warehouses and facilities needed to support this business.

“We are also in talks with Angkasa Pura to expand our cargo business,” he said.

For other business lines such as CAS Food, it is focused on adding customers. Last year, CAS Food has expanded its kitchen in Cengkareng. CAS Facility also serves institutional laundry services. CAS Facility is also developing facilities or workshops to run laundry business.

The laundry facility investment fund comes from bank loans without disclosing the amount of its investment value. Until now, CAS Facility has been serving laundry for several hospitals, such as Pelni Hospital and Pertamina Jaya Hospital.
