Mr. Louis Kweku Opuku as ICAO Auditor for International Standards and Procedures – ICAO Universal Safety Oversight Audit Program, visited the Jakarta Aviation Training Center (JATC) facility. The visit was conducted as one of the series of ICAO Audit for air transport safety supervision function in Indonesia.
In its capacity to oversee the civil aviation safety level of a country, ICAO maps eight aspects of air safety, for Personal Licensing.
The audit was a success, with Indonesia’s ranking climbing to 55th position from the previous year’s rank of 151. Proudly JATC has become an important part of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia effort in applying International standards in air safety.
