The signing of MoU was conducted at BIJB Kertajati Office, Majalengka Regency, Monday (13/2). The MoU was signed by the Managing Director of PT BIJB, Virda Dimas Ekaputra and President Director of PT Angkasa Semesta Services, Aji Gunawan. ” This will facilitate the process of BIJB operation later, ” said CEO of PT BIJB, Virda Dimas Ekaputra.
Virda said the construction process of BIJB which is now started, is targeted to be completed by November 2017. Thus, the airport can be operated in early 2018. However, to achieve the target, it requires the involvement and support of various parties.
“With the support of the weather, community and stakeholders and God’s willing, the construction will be completed in November 2017,” said Virdha.
Virda revealed, the burden of airports in Indonesia, especially Soekarno Hatta Airport, is now full. Therefore, he considered the existence of BIJB become very strategic to move the passenger load from Soekarno Hatta Airport.
Virda added, it is not only limited to build airports. However, helped build the area. Thus, Majalengka District will become a new economic center, especially in eastern West Java.
