CAS Group through its subsidiaries; Jasa Angkasa Semesta (JAS), JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAE), and Purantara Mitra Angkasa Dua (PMAD) had the prestigious opportunity to represent Indonesia in serving the needs of airport support services for Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and his wife Mariko Suga and delegation during their state visit to Indonesia, Tuesday (20/10).
With super tight supervision from the Japanese Government, JAS, JAE, and PMAD were responsible for ground and cargo handling needs also maintenance of Japan Air Force One aircraft, as well as providing VVIP in-flight catering for Japan’s number one person during his trip in Jakarta.
Moreover, Indonesia was chosen to be Japan’s partner and also the second country visited by Yoshihide Suga, since he took office and serves as Japan’s Prime Minister, also after ending his first trip to Vietnam.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo even highly appreciated Yoshihide Suga’s decision to undertake this state trip in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is estimated that this bilateral meeting was to discuss issues surrounding the Covid-19’s handling, economic cooperation, and partnerships in relations with security and peace, especially for area in ASEAN countries and also Indo-Pacific regions.
