The replacing board is the TNI Marshal (Retired) Djoko Suyanto as an independent commissioner of the company as well as vice president commissioner PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk.
President Director & Group CEO, CAS Group, Diono Nurjadin said we hoped the new appointment could provide a new energy to the company. Currently Djoko still serves as Chairman of the Association of Indonesia Air Force Retired. Since 2015, Djoko has been the President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA).
“With experience and networking, he will be very useful for the company and existing business lines, especially for sustainable business development,” he said recently.
This year, the company focuses particularly on the development of sustainable value. Since last year the CAS Group had done an integration as the development of the Indonesian aviation industry.
“This industry will continue to grow in accordance with government plans to increase the number of foreign tourist visits and infrastructure development in Indonesia,” explained Diono.
He continued, he believes the growth of the transportation industry, especially air transport and the tourism industry will become the foundation of value development in a sustainable manner. Previously, the company launched a synergy of four business sectors.
Among these are CAS Destination which is a ground handling and line maintenance service provider, CAS Food which operates on In-Flight and Industrial catering services, CAS Facility as facility management, and CAS People as development and training services.
In the first semester of 2017, the company recorded Rp 981.2 billion or an increase of 11.4 percent compared to the same period last year with Rp 863.7 billion. Net profit grew 25.9% to around Rp 69.2 billion compared to Rp 54.6 billion previously.
